Breve descripción de la zona




La zona donde s se encuentra ubicada en el extremo sur del Parque Nacional

Nahuel Huapi, este limite está definido por el Río Manso el cual vierte sus

aguas al océano Pacifico. A este lugar se lo llama Valle del Río Manso

Inferior.

La distancia a Bariloche es de 102 k y a El Bolsón 81 km.



Esta zona se encuentra a 500 m.s.n.m., esto la convierte en uno de los pasos

internacionales mas bajos del país. Su clima se divide en dos estaciones bien

diferenciadas, de Septiembre a Marzo las temperaturas rondan entre 12 y 24

C con escasas precipitaciones, los meses restantes se caracterizan por ser

extremadamente humedos.

La vegetación es de cordillera Andino/Patagónica (Ciprés, Cohiue, ñire,

Lenga, etc.) a medida que nos acercamos al limite con Chile nos encontramos



en presencia de Selva Valdiviana aquí Ud. Se encontrará con especies únicas

como el Alerce (Fitzroya Cupressoides) y el Maniú (Podocarpus Nubigena) y

otros.

Lo que respecta a la fauna silvestre podremos encontrar al ciervo Pudú Pudú,

el Huemul, también animales como el Huillín (parecido a la nutria) al Gato

Huiña; mucha variedad de aves, destacando al Cóndor y el Pájaro Carpintero

Real.

No deberá preocuparse por ofidios ni por insectos dañinos, salvo en época

estival el Tábano y la avispa Chaqueta Amarilla.

Ubicación del Campo

El mismo se encuentra en la parte noroeste de la Patagonia en la provincia de

Río Negro departamento San Carlos de Bariloche.

Partiendo de San Carlos de Bariloche por ruta nacional N 258 (km. 67)

desviándose a la altura del paraje río Villegas , retomando hacia el oeste por la

ruta provincial N 83 y recorriendo una distancia de aprox. 30 km. se llega

hasta el manso inferior sobre la margen izquierda del Río Manso sentido este oeste. De allí uno se dirige hacia la hostería de Oscar Montes retomando un

camino vecinal haciendo aproximadamente 5 km. de camino (estado regular a

malo) pasando por el campo de Lidia Montes, pasando por el puente del zorro,

vadeando el río la Tiaca y el río Seco hasta llegar a las instalaciones del

establecimiento.

Consideraciones

Posee acceso todo el año ya que por la altura sobre el nivel del mar y la

situación geográfica en donde se encuentra tiene escasas precipitaciones
